Butter sizzles in a hot skillet and the onion jump when tossed into the melty goo. Spicy aromatics coat the kitchen. Tender seasoned raw meat slaps the skillet with a sizzed and scent that makes me salivate.
The sounds of laughter and clinking of glasses could be heard. It was just background noise as I ripped through the claws and tail, challenging myself to pull out the biggest piece of meat possible without breakage.
